Why Service-Learning?

Service-Learning connects the classroom with the community. As a Service-Learning student, you will serve with an organization, applying theories and tools learned in the classroom and textbooks to real challenges facing individuals and groups in the Treasure Valley. Service-Learning involves hands-on learning, real-world experiences, networking possibilities, personal insights and growth, and a new awareness of community problems and solutions.
